  1. A reader sent me her Miracle Story:
So, about four years ago, I was meeting with three friends on a regular basis studying Adyshanti's Falling From Grace. One member of the group could, at times, be quite outspoken and have opposite opinions or comments.Even though he thinks differently from me, I have always liked him, perhaps because of that! One day I introduced an exercise in which we were told that the US exchanged one thousand Palestinian prisoners for one American prisoner. We were asked to focus on what our hearts felt, not our political perspective or position. After awhile we went on to another typical conservative discussion. The silent member of our group then spoke up and said, "I've been quiet because I've been feeling through what I'd like to say. I am just glad that 1001 people were released." We were all surprised to hear this from that particular group member. He's been on a remarkable journey of spiritual discovery and I think of that response often. It goes to show that no matter how we may have defined our impression of someone, it's likely to never be truly accurate.
